Instructional Content Production Support

Production support to break out information from a lesson PDF for teachers to a slide deck for elementary students.

The goal of this project is to faithfully translate teacher directions and instructional content in a teacher's guide to student-facing slides.

This task requires English fluency and an ability to make informed decisions about grammar and concision (e.g. changing the sentence “Tell students that animals live in habitats that are freshwater because…” to be “Animals live in freshwater habitats because…”). Candidates should have strong writing, editing, and summarizing skills; ability to follow specific instructions and adjust based on feedback; and an orientation to detail. 

This job is a fully remote independent contractor position and is and flexible on hours - contractors could work anywhere from 5-30 hours a week as suits their schedule. We're working through hundreds of teacher guides to create these decks, so there will be plenty of material if candidates want more hours some weeks.
