Requirements:

  • Social Media Savvy: You have a strong online presence and understand what makes engaging organic content.
  • Driven: You have a real interest in marketing, entertainment, sports management, or the fashion industry. Your academic and extracurricular achievements show your grit, hustle, and horsepower.
  • Creative and Outgoing: You love creating content, hosting events, and bringing people together. Your enthusiasm is contagious.
  • Passion for the Culture: Demonstrated passion for GLD and youth culture, with a keen understanding of current trends, social media platforms, and the interests of college students.
  • Analytical Thinker: You can understand and use data to improve strategies and make informed decisions.
  • Business Savvy: You have a basic understanding of business principles and can creatively promote and sell products.
  • Engaging Communicator: You're skilled at crafting messages that resonate with your audience and can effectively engage with peers online and in-person.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Presence: Attend key events to deliver GLD products and capture compelling content (photos, videos, social media posts) that showcases our brand in action.
  • Celebrity & Athlete Relations: Assist the athlete and celebrity support team with communication, organizing and sending gifts, and other tasks to enhance these partnerships.
  • Strategic Growth: Create and implement a campus growth plan, focusing on increasing brand awareness and sales. Track and report your progress, with opportunities for recognition and rewards based on your impact.

Duration and Commitment:

  • The internship runs for the 2024-25 academic school year.
  • Expect to commit approximately 5-10 hours per week, including attending events and regular check-ins.

Compensation:

  • This is an unpaid internship but may be eligible for course credit.
  • Interns may receive GLD products as part of the compensation package.
