The office of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21) is accepting applications for full and part-time interns in her Washington, D.C. office over the Fall Semester.  Summer internships typically run from the end of August to the beginning of December, but the dates are flexible. Internship duties include researching legislation for the Congresswoman and legislative staff, answering constituent phone calls, attending hearings and briefings, working with our communications team, and providing support in all areas of the office to the Representative and staff. Internships can also be tailored to the intern’s specific interest areas when possible. Candidates with New York State ties and customer service experience are strongly encouraged to apply!

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik represents New York’s 21st District in the House of Representatives in her fifth term in office. In May 2021, Congresswoman Stefanik was elected by her colleagues to serve in House Leadership as Chair of the House Republican Conference, making her the number four Republican in the House. She is a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the Committee on Education and Labor, and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. On the Armed Services Committee, Congresswoman Stefanik serves on the Subcommittee on Cyber, Innovative Technologies, and Information Systems, and as a member of the subcommittee on Strategic Forces. On the Committee on Education and Labor, she serves on the Higher Education and Workforce Investment, and Workforce Protections Subcommittees.
