Remote Graphic Design Intern

Femergy® is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join our strong team. Through this internship, you will learn strategies for creating engaging visual content that connects individuals with community resources and mission oriented updates.

Femergy® is a non-profit organization that provides life-skills training, career exploration, college readiness, wellness management, and direct mentorship opportunities for girls and women. Femergy® has been serving Central Ohio and surrounding areas for the past ten years.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content for Femergy®'s social media
• Help generate new designs and apply brand/style guidelines throughout content
• Develop digital marketing materials and website content
• Maintain communication on progress of designs with Social Media Team Lead
• Brainstorm new ideas for social media campaigns

Requirements/Essential Skills:

• Knowledge of social media platforms
• Flexible and self-motivated
• Detail oriented, with the ability to prioritize under deadlines
• Proficiency in design and research platforms, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, Microsoft Teams, as well as Internet search tools
• Previous experience in graphic design (classwork experience included)
