Event Coordinator Internship Opportunity at Rising Starz Music & Performance Academy!

Are you passionate about event planning and the performing arts? Rising Starz Music & Performance Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Event Coordinator Intern to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in organizing and executing a variety of events, from recitals and masterclasses to community performances and more!

Position: Event Coordinator Intern
Location: On-site -  2877 S University Drive, Davie Fl 33328
Duration: [3 months]
Hours: [Number of Hours per Week, e.g., 15-20 hours/week]
Compensation: $100/month

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events and performances
  • Coordinate with staff, teachers, students, and vendors to ensure smooth event operations
  • Manage event logistics, including scheduling, venue setup, and equipment
  • Promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and community outreach
  • Handle event registrations, ticket sales, and attendee communications
  • Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Collect and analyze feedback to improve future events

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Performing Arts, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for the performing arts and event coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings and weekends
