Technology Services Intern

This internship offers the opportunity to gain additional experience in Smartsheet, Excel, Word, Business Process development/documentation, Naviline, Maximo, Badger Beacon and other applications.  Additionally, other learning experiences can be developed in relation to intern’s interest and area of study within the fields of Customer Service, Planning & Scheduling, and Technical Services.  The program will provide the intern with a constructive review and evaluation of their skills and competencies, providing growth opportunities and direction to further professional and educational development.

By the end of the internship, the intern will learn how to:

  • Learn how to create, schedule and send out Meter Maintenance work orders
  • Review and document business processes to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Gather and review requirements
  • Work in Smartsheet and Excel
  • Use the Maximo web application
  • Use the Naviline web application
  • Use the Badger Beacon web application
  • Work on projects involving various departments and employees
  • Project management
  • Execute and update reports

 

Work Hours: 20-40 hours/week. Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM. The role will be required to be on site.

 

 

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a college/university, seeking a graduate (post-baccalaureate) degree or senior level graduate studies. (Proof of current enrollment required at time of application.)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates currently working toward a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Administration/Management, communications, Information Systems or closely related field.

 

 

About Everything Else

Pay Range: $13 per hour (high school student) up to $20 per hour (Grad/Masters student), based on your credit hours earned.
