Marketing Internship

Quarto Publishing Group USA is comprised of over 20 imprints that create and publish illustrated books in North America and sells co-editions of them internationally. 

Quarto’s Diversity Internship Program is designed to provide diverse students with an opportunity to integrate real-world experience at an established publisher with their chosen academic program.  Currently we are seeking a Marketing Intern in our Boston North Shore (MA) office or New York, MY office , who would engage in any number of the following activities:

Intern would write and edit marketing copy and write press releases; set up press kits; ship media packages and books to press, reviewers, and bloggers; maintain the press database; attend marketing meetings to ensure marketing goals and vision are aligned with publishing schedules and corporate goals; attend author conference calls; contribute to social media accounts and assist authors with their own social media with respect to our books; learn and develop best practices for marketing departments including brand messaging, market segments, target markets, etc.; and other related tasks, as assigned. Additionally, the intern may have an opportunity to work with our Editorial Department.

Eligible student applicants must be diverse students enrolled full-time as of Fall 2024 as either a Junior, Senior in a college-level undergraduate, or a Graduate student majoring in English, Communications, Journalism, and Marketing. The paid internship program will run from September 2024 thru December 2024, with a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week (Please keep this commitment in mind as you are planning your Fall 2024 semester.)
