Intern (Creative)

AGBO is an artist-led Academy Award-Winning independent studio focused on developing and producing innovative story universes spanning film, TV, and digital platforms. Founded in 2017 by award-winning and record-breaking directors Anthony and Joe Russo, AGBO’s mission is to inspire and advance the next generation of storytelling to entertain and influence worldwide audiences. AGBOs recent productions include “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” Netflix’s “The Gray Man,” Amazon thriller series “Citadel,” and Netflix's sequel, “Extraction 2”.

This position is working for a prestigious and prolific production company run by directorial talent. This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to work in the heart of a fast-paced, well-connected, highly creative environment.

As an Intern in the Creative Department, you will immerse yourself in the intricacies of film and TV development. You will engage with various aspects of our department, gaining hands-on experience in analyzing creative materials and learning about the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Assist in the analysis and coverage of various materials, including books, screenplays, pilots, etc..
  • Participate in project research to support development initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including document preparation, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Facilitate daily operations, such as setting up conference rooms and greeting guests, to ensure a smooth workflow within the company.
  • Attend department meetings, offering creative insights and suggestions.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a related field such as Film Studies, Creative Writing, Communications, or Media Studies. Junior/Senior applications only.
  • A keen interest in the entertainment industry, particularly in film and television development.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

College credit is preferred but not required. Previous development internship experience is a plus but not required. The internship is paid at $17.25/hr. You are expected to work 2.5 days a week (20 hours) beginning in September until mid-December.
