Technical Writer Intern

We developed our T.R.U.S.T.™ software specifically to help companies and lenders with credit insurance management needs. T.R.U.S.T. ™ helps our clients reduce the time and effort required to monitor credit insurance policies and lowers the cost of their premiums. 

The Technical Writer Intern will be responsible for updating a maintaining our current set of user documentation for the T.R.U.S.T.™ platform: 

• Updates, edits, and proofreads T.R.U.S.T.™ comprehensive user manual, current how-to guides, and FAQs. 
• Helps to build out FGI’s repository of user guides.  
• Creates scripts for video tutorials. 
• Tests and updates existing documentation. 
• Adheres to and updates in-house style guide. 
• Creates infographics and screenshot markups. 
• Works closely with subject matter experts, engineers, developers, and product marketing team. 

Requirements:  

• College-level experience in insurance, risk management, or related field. 
• Experience with Microsoft suite of products or proven ability to quickly develop skillset using these tools. 
• Interest in Insurtech software. 
• Detail oriented with the ability to pay close attention to accuracy of work. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to acquire necessary skills through self-directed learning.
