Summer Analyst - Program Management

Program Overview

Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts.

Our 2025 Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

To be eligible for consideration students must be undergraduates currently in their junior year and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.

POSITION 

As a Summer Analyst on the Technology & Operations COO team, this individual will be responsible for detailed business requirements analysis and project management of technology projects across our Advisor Desktop and Client Portal. This individual will work with various teams to understand business problems and partner with technology to define, develop and deliver the appropriate solutions. This individual will partner with our user experience (UX) design and quality assurance (QA) teams, who are an integral part of the fabric that surrounds our technology engineers. This role is pivotal in bringing business and technology together to deliver critical objectives for the firm.


Responsibilities

  • Actively liaison with business partners to elicit information about current state and future state business processes and procedures.
  • Break down business process into detailed business and systems requirements for technology projects and operational procedures
  • Work with the UX team to deliver screens that are intuitive and efficient for end users.
  • Manage and oversee project meetings with internal and external business stakeholders to produce action plans and milestone delivery schedules.
  • Develop user stories and participate in grooming sessions with developers to finalize / refine feature requirements and designs.


Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
  • Exposure and interest in computer science or information technology.
  • Strong experience in leading and/or contributing as part of a collaborative group.
  • Experience in breaking a complex objective into tasks that can be prioritized, aligned and scheduled for delivery of the whole.


Skills

  • Strong technical and/or business writing
  • Strong executive presence to facilitate / manage smaller meetings
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies and toolsets (ex. JIRA)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adaptable, comfortable in ambiguity
  • Ability to solve problems, communicate ideas, drive agendas, and build consensus
  • Detail-oriented and resourceful with good organizational and project-management skills
  • Basic understanding of financial services, specifically Wealth Management


Compensation Range

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $32/hour. Salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of this rate.
