Campus Marketing Coordinator

Role Definition

Campus Marketing Coordinators are students who would like to be a VLTED representative at their respective schools during the college school year. Their role is to onboard as many other students/subscribers as possible through different marketing strategies, as well as to create excitement and engagement on campus for and within the VLTED App. Campus Marketing Coordinators will work closely with their VLTED Managers to devise the marketing strategies and gain valuable marketing insights and practice. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Participate in tabling events around campus to spread the word about VLTED and showcase the app’s functions
  • Create a unique strategy to stand out and gain the attention of students
  • Pass out/post flyers around campus
  • Set up tables and booths around campus
    • High foot-traffic areas
    • Sporting events
    • Greek life events
    • IM and/or recreational events
    • Career fairs
  • Create competitive pools in the VLTED app for school organizations and friend groups to encourage in-app activity
  • Manage VLTED Exclusive Communities to generate community users, create announcements, encourage friendly banter within the community, and moderate users who request to join
  • Participate in beta testing for the VLTED app, providing constructive feedback to determine pain points in its development
  • Design and share social media posts to attract audiences to the VLTED pages and create excitement about the app

  • Report weekly to assigned Regional Brand Manage (RBM) to discuss progress and creative strategies

The more students a Campus Marketing Coordinator gets to join VLTED, the more commission they will receive. Each Campus Marketing Coordinator will receive a personal code to share with new users which will be used to track numbers and thus determine bonuses.
