Research Coordinator

VISIT FLORIDA shares Florida sunshine with the world. As the state’s official tourism marketing organization, VISIT FLORIDA has been charged with selling an extraordinary vacation product since 1996.  As part of our research team, we're looking for a Research Coordinator who is team-oriented and quick learner.  This individual will be part of an integrated marketing team, working closely to provide research data, documents, and reports.  

This role is located in Florida, with a high preference to be located in our corporate office in Tallahassee, FL.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the research team with operational needs and projects such as: communicating with vendors; communicating with Partners regarding research benefits; coordinating research webinars, and creating, maintaining, and distributing research newsletter.
  • Assist in the design and distribution of questionnaires and surveys.  Test surveys to ensure correct formatting for data collection and monitor the progress of data collection.
  • Organize and manage data and findings from multiple research sources into systems as needed.  May assist in summarizing data to identify trends, key indicators, and patterns.
  • Complete annual, monthly, and weekly updates to a variety of research documents.  Generate monthly and weekly reports.
  • Provide data to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing databases and online systems.  Prepare reports, briefing books, and presentations to communicate key findings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree
  • 1+ years of administrative experience within professional or business environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects. Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly learn how to use unfamiliar software

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, marketing, or related field
  • Knowledge of basic statistics
  • Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with Smart Sheets
  • Experience working with CRM databases, preferably Salesforce
