Sports Scout & Journalist

EXACT Sports is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and personable Sports Scout and Contributing Journalist. This role is pivotal in identifying promising young athletes at various youth sports events and fostering strong relationships within the sports community. While writing skills are beneficial, the emphasis of this role is on exceptional interpersonal skills, as the candidate will be extensively involved in interviewing coaches, engaging with players, and disseminating information about our media platform. 

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Identification and Community Engagement:

• Attend youth sports events (tournaments, league play) to identify potential athletes.
• Engage with coaches, players, and their families, providing information about our media site and nomination processes.
• Foster strong community relationships and represent our company positively at events.

Interviewing and Networking:

• Conduct interviews with coaches and players to gather insights.
• Network within the sports community to promote our events and media platform, enhancing our presence and reach.

Content Support and Collaboration:

• Utilize our internal AI tools for content creation, including articles and player profiles.
• Collaborate with our leadership group to ensure content accuracy and alignment with our company’s standards.

Administrative and Organizational Efficiency:

• Document scouting activities, community interactions, and event attendance.
• Coordinate efforts to align community engagement strategies.
