Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Manager to join our team. This role involves managing our WordPress website, ensuring it is functional, user-friendly, and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, content management, and digital marketing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply their skills in a dynamic and impactful non-profit organization.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain our WordPress website
• Update website content regularly, ensuring it is accurate and engaging
• Implement website design changes and improvements
• Optimize website performance and ensure it is mobile-friendly
• Monitor website security and perform regular backups
• Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate SEO best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly
• Work with various plugins and themes to enhance website functionality
• Assist in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns
• Analyze website traffic and user behavior using Google Analytics
• Support other web-related projects as needed
Required Skills:
• Proficient in WordPress and related technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP)
• Experience with theme and plug-in development
• Knowledge of database management
• SEO and website performance optimization
• Design and UX skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
• Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience in a non-profit or similar environment
