Marketing & Business Analyst/Strategist

Job Description:

As a Marketing and business strategist at Stearns Bank, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making and technology innovation across the organization. Leveraging your expertise in data analysis, strategy development, and marketing insights, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data-driven solutions that drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency and the GTM process.

 

Starting annual salary of $100,000.00. Employment offers will be dependent upon the selected candidate's relevant qualifications and experience. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product owner to define business and user needs
  • Translate data trends to growth opportunities
  • Oversee the development and validation of customer and consumer trends
  • Provide actionable insights based on data
  • Develop robust dashboards within our BI platforms
  • Develop and implement marketing attribution models to accurately measure the impact of various marketing channels on customer acquisition and conversion
  • Utilize advanced segmentation techniques to identify and target key customers segments, maximizing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, IT, Data, to understand business objectives and align analytics efforts
  • Create visually compelling dashboards and data visualizations to communication comply analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Work closely with IT and other relevant teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing analytics tools and platforms

 

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Answer questions, look for patterns or connections, and provide a path forward for the four verticals
  • Establish data infrastructure to collect, store, and manage campaign data from various sources
  • Report on marketing KPIs along the customer journey such as impressions, reach, leads, and other conversion rates across the major marketing channels (website, email, social, traditional media, etc.)
  • Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid campaigns
  • Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for new client acquisition
  • Forecast future market, consumer, and sales trends across our core four verticals (Nonprofit, SMB/equipment finance, digital products & innovation, affordable housing)
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of data analytics solutions and technology platforms, identifying opportunities for optimization, scalability, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement best practices, standards, and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Experience as a data analyst strategist and technology engineer a plus
  • 5 years of experience in data analysis, strategy development, and technology engineering roles, preferably in the financial services or banking industry.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, R, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing principles, with experience working with relational databases and cloud-based platforms.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing data-driven strategies and technology solutions that drive business value and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for leveraging data and technology to solve complex business challenges.
