Sales and Marketing Analyst Intern

The Sales and Marketing Analyst Intern assists in developing sales and marketing strategies to help SAFCO achieve its performance targets. Collaborating with our marketing and advertising team throughout all campaign stages, their role is crucial in developing, expanding, and maintaining our marketing channels. This internship offers valuable marketing skills, strategic knowledge, and preparation for a fast-paced work environment.

Key responsibilities include supporting campaign planning and execution, writing persuasive marketing copy, and creating compelling content. The intern will also participate in brainstorming sessions, manage website content, engage in sales training, measure and report initiative results, conduct market analysis, assist in business development, engage with dealer partners, and use a CRM system to manage leads and track sales activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating marketing campaigns and related materials to support the planning and execution of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Write persuasive copy for sales presentations, social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral. 
  • Assist in the creation of compelling written, video, and image content for sales and marketing channels. 
  • Participate in sales and marketing brainstorming sessions to generate innovative strategies. 
  • Assist in the management of website content to ensure alignment with sales goals. 
  • Take part in formal and informal sales training opportunities. 
  • Measure and report the results of sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify sales trends and opportunities. 
  • Assist in business development activities to expand market reach and drive sales growth. 
  • Engage with potential clients and support the sales team in lead generation and follow-up. 
  • Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Written Communication – Ability to write reports and correspondence to team members.
  • Verbal Communication – Ability to speak to individuals and groups, probe for information, and respond to questions.
  • Budgetary Development – Position does not have budgetary responsibility.
  • Project Management – Position works as part of a team that receives direction from the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
  • Computer Skills –Microsoft Office suite; SalesForce.com; graphic design software; ability to utilize software or technical applications and systems at an intermediate to advanced level, as needed.
  • Language Skills – Bilingual ability helpful but not required.

Education/Experience

Working towards a Bachelor’s degree at a junior or senior level. 

Any equivalent combination or experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
