Material Management – Virginia Beach, VA

 

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator responsible for the coordination and training of inventory operations, delivery of materials, and all aspects of loading and unloading operations within the CBN warehouse. 

 

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of material management practices and procedures
  • Ability to operate a forklift, electric pallet jack, stock picker, shredder and other material management equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills with ability to learn new software
  • Ability to assist with office computer functions in Epicor, warehouse operations and industry standard barcoding
  • Ability to assist the Manager using Epicor eWarehouse to reconcile all department material management transactions, including receipts of inventory, disbursements, stock move, cycle counts, revisions/recounts, revisions/reprint, and recycling of inventory items
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop and lift and carry up to 80lbs repeatedly throughout shift
  • Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • High-energy with a strong work ethic
  • Possess current driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to successfully maintain OSHA certification for forklifts/stock picker and pallet jacks
