Front-end Engineer
Day-to-day work:
- Work closely with our executive and back-end teams to build a responsive, performant, and scalable web platform
- Write robust and reusable components using ReactJS and TypeScript
- Support fellow engineers through feedback and code reviews
- Implement and conduct quality assurance processes
- Work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, where your creativity and innovation are valued
Minimum requirements:
- Experience in front-end development using React and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous requests
- Strong foundation in JavaScript ES6
- Solid understanding of the importance of code structure, readability, reusability, and typing
- Strong grasp of version-control tools, such as, Git
- Experience with unit testing (Jest or Vitest)
Preferred requirements:
- Experience with Material UI (MUI) Component library and popular React workflows and libraries (e.g., React Router, SWR)
- Experience in UI/UX Design
- Experience with cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, configuring front-end build tools (Vite) and building end-to-end tests
- Familiarity with Python and SQL Databases (e.g. Postgres)
