Remote Video Game Creator Intern
We are seeking a talented Video Game Creator Intern to work with our team to develop engaging and educational video games for children. As a Video Game Creator at The AAT Project, you will have the opportunity to blend creativity with educational objectives to produce interactive experiences that inspire and entertain young minds.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop video games tailored for children that align with our brand’s values and educational goals.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm game concepts, storylines, and mechanics that appeal to our target audience.
- Create game prototypes and iterate based on feedback to ensure gameplay is intuitive and engaging for children.
- Implement game art, animations, and audio elements to enhance the overall player experience.
- Conduct testing phases to identify and fix bugs, ensuring a polished final product.
Requirements:
- Some experience as a Video Game Creator, Game Designer, or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing at least one successful projects.
- Solid understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and gameplay balancing.
Proficiency in game development tools and software such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms. - Strong creative and artistic skills, with the ability to visualize concepts and bring them to life through digital media.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for creating educational and entertaining content for children.
Students will be supervised by the founder of the AAT Foundation a 501(c)(3) org. and The AAT Project LLC. We are in compliance with Department of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) criteria.
