Android Mobile Applications Developer

The ideal candidate for our Android Mobile Applications Developer position has great communication skills, is self-motivated and passionate about their work, has a strong desire to grow professionally, and possesses an eagerness to be part of a dynamic group of focused and creative individuals and has excellent time management skills.

Job Description:

  • Develop native Android versions of existing iOS cloud apps
  • Ensure consistency across Android apps that perform image acquisition and consultative experiences in medical and aesthetic markets
  • Apply Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices as well as knowledgeable in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • 3+ years’ experience developing on the Android platform at a professional level
  • Strong fundamentals in Object-Oriented design and data structures
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Kotlin/Java
  • Proficient in leveraging Android SDK, frameworks and library components
  • Understanding of Android build automation tools - Maven, Gradle and experience working with RESTful APIs

Desired:

  • Experience with Android JNI & NDK
  • Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries
  • Familiarity with manual settings camera control API is preferred
