On-Call Studio Technician - 700 Club (VA)
Broadcast Operations – Virginia Beach, VA
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Studio Technician to work in our studios under supervision to operate television cameras and perform various studio functions.
This opportunity is an on-call position offering flexible hours on an as-needed basis without guaranteed weekly hours.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Working knowledge and capability of operating a camera
- Knowledge of television production and workflow
- Ability to carry video and lighting equipment, and consistently lift 40 lbs or more
- Ability to climb ladders and work from a scissor lift at extended heights
- Good hand-eye coordination, ability to stand for long periods of time
- Good visual and creative skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team, working collaboratively with various show producers
- Ability to work different shifts, extended hours, and meet unexpected work demands
- Comfortable working with lighting and related studio equipment a plus
- Previous experience as a Lighting Technician a plus
