Marketing Intern - Fall 2024 Semester

For the upcoming Fall 2024 semester, Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust (TAIT) is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Intern to join our team at Tulsa International Airport. The intern will be responsible for supporting the marketing team with marketing campaigns and initiatives, written communications, advertising, and events. The intern will gain well-rounded experience through job shadowing and meaningful projects, working up to 40 hours per week during normal daytime office hours, with occasional hours outside a normal workday. Pay for this position is $12/hour. 
 
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, written communications, and advertising initiatives
- Assist in the planning and execution of events and promotions
- Perform other duties as assigned

 Education & Experience: 

- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with at least 60 credit hours

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

- Knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing, and graphic design

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Detail-oriented and able to multitask

Compensation:   This will be a semester-long paid internship at $12/hour. A typical work week is 40 daytime hours Monday through Friday, although flexible scheduling may be available based on need. Applicant must be willing to occasionally work early, late or on weekends as new learning opportunities arise.

Physical Requirements: Physical requirements include arm and hand dexterity enough to use a keyboard, 10-key and telephone; occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds; may be subject to walking, standing, sitting, reaching, balancing, bending, kneeling, handling, climbing and twisting; and vision, speech and hearing sufficient to perform the essential tasks.

Licenses and Certifications: Possession of a valid Oklahoma Driver's License; ability to obtain and maintain eligibility to hold a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge. 

Working Environment: Working environment is primarily indoors and occasionally outdoors, and in inclement weather.
