Event Fundraising Assistant

Join our dynamic Fundraising and Development team as an Event Fundraising Assistant. This internship offers hands-on experience in event coordination, donor engagement, and fundraising strategies, making you an essential contributor to the success of our organization's fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising events, managing logistics, schedules, and vendors.
• Contribute creative ideas to elevate the overall attendee experience.
• Communicate effectively with donors and sponsors to meet their needs and expectations.
• Develop strategies to foster relationships with existing and potential donors.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to craft compelling promotional materials for events.
• Utilize social media and other channels to boost awareness and attendance.
• Provide administrative assistance in maintaining event databases, tracking RSVPs, and managing participant communications.
• Assist in preparing event materials, including signage, programs, and donor recognition items.
• Contribute to the development and execution of fundraising campaigns associated with events.
• Assist in tracking and analyzing campaign performance.
• Participate in post-event evaluations to assess the success of fundraising initiatives.
• Collect feedback from participants and donors for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Event Management, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
