Little League World Series Marketing Resident

Little League Baseball® Marketing Residents

Dates of Employment are July 29 - August 25, 2024 (flexible start and end dates!)

Little League® International is seeking qualified part-time support to join Little League's Sponsorship and Marketing team from late July through the end of August. This position will assist with the development and execution of marketing initiatives related to the 2024 Little League World Series. The part-time position will pay $12.00 an hour with housing provided and will run from July 29th through August 25th at the Little League International HQ in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Start and end date are flexible, and we will work with your schedule! Successful candidates will assist with day-to-day implementation of event management needs for Official Sponsors within the Fan Zone or other sponsor-related events.

 

Examples of possible work may also include:

  • Providing hands-on event management support during the Little League Baseball World Series
  • Hanging signage around the complex
  • Distributing product samples and giveaways on behalf of Sponsors
  • Assisting with stocking and inventory of Official Sponsor products and giveaways
  • Packaging and mailing tickets and other information to Official Sponsors and their guests
  • Assist in the implementation of on-site fan experience technologies

 

Preferred candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Project management and customer service skills - ensure that all tasks are completed to satisfaction and engage with other staff in a courteous and respectful manner
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines and reach department objectives
  • A positive attitude
  • Familiarity with the games of baseball and softball, is a plus
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of social media platforms a plus.
  • Event-marketing experience is also a plus
