John Bell Media Manager

Job Title: John Bell Media Manager 

John Bell Construction, Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated creative, marketing, and public relations professional to lead our company's Marketing & Social Media Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional possessing a vision to create marketing content as well as opportunities to further the company’s social exposure. This position will report directly to the company’s President, and although it will mainly be a mobile (throughout Miami-Dade County) position, it is based out of our Miami, FL office.

Job Description:

As the person in this role, you will work closely with the Marketing and Social Media Team to deliver engaging content that surpasses the expectations of our customers. This individual should be extremely creative, dedicated, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Marketing and Social Media Team to produce new ideas for company branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications.
  • Evaluating trends, assessing new data, and keeping up to date with the latest marketing techniques.
  • Creating and implementing tailored marketing plans based on the Team’s initiatives. 
  • Directing brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.
  • Shaping brand standards and creating procedures to ensure all efforts and services are brand appropriate.
  • Developing exceptional and well-crafted copy that meets the Team’s requirements.
  • Tracking success via analytics.
  • Within fourteen (14) days of starting, developing a plan to improve the company’s current strategy as well as starting a new strategy to implement new forward-thinking ideas.
  • Organize Events.
  • Assist in the production of the Set Apart Podcast.
    • Constantly update Guest List.
  • Track company metrics and trends.
  • Manage Task List through “Trello” App. 
  • Management of Social Media Presence and Brand Management:
    • Strategy, Planning, and Design.
    • Reels/Tiktok Editing.
    • Captions and Hashtags.
    • Communicate with Viewers.
    • Messaging, Likes, and Comments.
    • Approvals and Posting.
  • Marketing Material.
    • Ordering and Inventory.
    • Develop Proofs.
    • Business Cards.
    • Booklets, Pamphlets, Flyers, etc.
    • Development and Creation of Shwag as well as Brand Apparel.
  • Coordinate with Website Developer to process changes and updates as required.
    • Provide Website Developer with necessary information/content/images, etc. for continuous website updates and improvements.
  • Article publication on the Company and its Projects.
  • Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Managers to forecast upcoming construction activities to identify filming/content opportunities.
    • Plan to schedule videographers and photographers for content creation.
  • Creation of collaborations to assist with the growth of the company. 
  • Remember key points in meetings and gatherings that must be recorded.
  • Learn Audio/Visual Components to be able to impact the video and podcast production process.
  • Creation of Ads and Advertisement opportunities. 
  • All Administrative tasks that coincide with this role and the department.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate Knowledge of and a LOVE for Construction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in art, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, and other relevant fields.
  • (Nice To Have) 5 years of digital experience, particularly with, but not limited to web, social, and emerging technologies.
  • A solid understanding of design, copy, and web practices.
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker.
