Affordable Housing Research Internship
The Housing Development Division works to expand housing opportunities by providing grants and loans to help make necessary repairs; promote the enhancement of homes and neighborhoods; and facilitate the development of affordable housing opportunities.
Intern Duties:
- Conduct research on affordable housing
- Compile and analyze data
- Review and write reports
- Clerical duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate/Preference: Bachelor’s degree minimum, prefer graduate level work in economics, political science, communications, public administration; research methods coursework desired; strong technical, analytical, and narrative writing skills; ability to work independently, and knowledge of local/state/federal government is ideal.
Additional Information: The department is looking for a Fall and/or Spring intern for this position; opportunity to extend available. Candidates will work 10- 20 hours a week depending on availability. A hybrid office-home schedule can be considered.
