Social Media Manager

Do you love Social Media and Influencer Marketing? We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our social media team and our community of over 150,000 Creators. 

The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing and implementing high-level content strategies, generating creative content ideas, and managing the teams involved in producing video content. You will also be responsible for managing the social team. 

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and excellent organizational skills to elevate our brand presence across various social media platforms. Must have a strong passion for social media and on top of the trends. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Content Strategy Development:
    • Planning: Develop a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, branding, and marketing objectives. Outline content themes, and topics via the content calendar, across multiple platforms and pages. 
    • Content Calendar: Create and manage a content calendar that schedules the production and publication of content across all relevant platforms, for three social media pages. 
  • Content Creation and Management: Generate innovative content ideas and oversee the production of high-quality social media content, including videos, graphics, and written posts. Approve content before the scheduling team publishes.
  • Production Management: Coordinate and manage relationships with content creators, influencers, editors and other key players involved in video production. Ensure smooth collaboration and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest), ensuring timely and engaging posts.
    • You will not be responsible for scheduling content, captions, engagement on posts etc but will be responsible to ensure everything is posted on time and correctly
  • Monitor Audience Engagement:
    • Community Interaction: Monitor audience engagement and feedback across social media platforms. Use insights from audience interactions to refine content strategies.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to brand standards and maintains a consistent voice and tone across all platforms.
  • Trends and Adaptation: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices. Adapt the content strategy to incorporate new trends and maintain relevance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, graphic designers, and other departments to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns. Prepare regular reports and provide insights to guide future strategies.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1  year of experience in social media management, content strategy, or a related role.

 

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating with content creators and influencers.
  • Proficiency in the following social media tools:
    • Canva, Metricool, Capcut
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
  • Ability or willingness to learn how to edit short form video

 

Preferred Qualifications:


Experience in social media and understanding of Influencer & Creator world

Proven track record of growing social media presence and engagement.
