Duration: 12 month

Hours: Minimum of 5 hours per week (20 hours for international students)

About Us: Games for Love is a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to easing suffering, saving lives, and creating sustainable futures for children. Through the power of video games, we provide relief and support to children in hospitals, inspire young minds with STEM education, and foster a community of caring individuals committed to making a positive impact.

Position Overview: We are looking for passionate and dedicated Game Producer Interns to join our team for the summer. As a Game Producer Intern, you will play a crucial role in managing the development and production of our game projects. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in game production, work with a talented team of professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that bring joy and support to children in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and coordination of game development projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, programmers, and audio engineers.
• Track project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure milestones are met on time.
• Facilitate communication and maintain clear documentation of project status, goals, and deliverables.
• Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on project timelines and deliverables.
• Help manage resources, schedules, and budgets to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Game Design, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Passion for video games and a desire to make a positive impact through gaming.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Jira).
• Basic understanding of game development processes and pipelines.
• Familiarity with Unity or other game engines is a plus.
