Join our team of news professionals at The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), where we produce and deliver network-quality news for the daily live TV show, The 700 Club.  This news/magazine program has the variety and pace of a morning show with in-depth investigative reporting by our CBN News team.   

We are looking for an experienced Editor/Videographer with comprehensive editing skills to successfully contribute to the production team based in Virginia Beach, VA. 

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of computer editing systems, software and related equipment as well as creative concepts of editing composition with ability to learn and apply new and advanced technology quickly.
• Demonstrative knowledge of NTSC and PAL HD and digital television standards as well as necessary conversion techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of state-of-the-art video camera, lighting and audio production techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to perform advanced remote production functions involving lighting, directing and audio recording.
• Must be skilled in color perception and possess fine attention to visual and composition detail with ability to color correct video as necessary.
• Minimum of five years experience at a postproduction or television facility, and/or in video field production.
• Competency with digital audio editing and mixing techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of TV production in remote locations.
• Ability to work independently and as an effective production team member to include operating as a one man band on field assignments.
• Good communication and cross-cultural skills with ability to exercise judgment given a script or concept and make decisions based on breaking News situations.
• Competent under acute pressure and ability to meet immediate air deadlines.
• Flexibility to perform varying, changing and multiple shifts, extended hours, and meet expectation of last minute work demands.
• Ability to travel and work nights and weekends, if needed.
• Good organizational skills with attention to details.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift minimum of 30 lbs.
