Social Media Operations Intern - Bilingual Mandarin Preferred

About the Position

Join our team as a Social Media Operations Intern, supporting our Social Media Specialist in managing account operations, monitoring and analyzing account performance metrics, and creating short videos to boost products exposure. Our ideal candidate should have previous or current exposure to social media content creation, product marketing, and a creative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Operations & Content Creations (50%)
    • Manage day-to-day account activities including content posting, followers’ engagement, video performance monitoring, and other necessary key metrics.
    • Actively seek new content creation ideas for each product; assist in shooting and editing short videos to boost exposure and optimize conversions.
    • Stay up to date on current trends, viral contents, and platform updates on Tiktok to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
    • Monitor key metrics and competitors’ performance to generate a weekly report optimizing account performance.
  • Influencers Relationship Management (30%)
    • Collect and analyze data to make the best judgment on each influencer’s e-commerce value and identify the right group of influencers to contact.
    • Assist with influencers’ collaboration campaign strategies and coordinate with influencers to promote our products together to boost product sales.
    • Reach out to influencers about company’s products and serve as the primary POC for influencers engagement, including but not limited to answering questions, managing progress, and maintaining positive long-term relationships.
  • Product Strategies Development (20%)
    • Assist in preparing product marketing strategies including positioning, research, and sourcing.
    • Design brochures for each product as promotion materials for influencers.

Qualifications:

  • Background in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Filmmaking, E-Commerce, or related preferred
  • Solid understanding of Tiktok and how it works
  • Strong experience with video editing
  • Strong data analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Social media account operations and content creation experience preferred
  • Passionate about e-commerce and social media marketing
  • Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese preferred

Job Type: Part-time onsite in Manhattan, NY

Office Schedule: Upon agreement

Pay: Hourly pay of $16/hr
