Human Resource Administrative Assistant

HR Administrative Assistant with Recruitment Experience (On-Site; Miami, FL)

Overview:

Are you a recent college graduate with a background in quick-service restaurants (QSR) and a passion for human resources? We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our team, bringing recruitment expertise and a willingness to take on additional HR tasks, including workers' compensation. Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment Support:

   - Utilize your QSR experience to assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions within the organization.

   - Coordinate interview schedules, conduct reference checks, and ensure a smooth recruitment process from start to finish.

   - Leverage your understanding of the QSR industry to identify top talent through creative sourcing methods and networking opportunities.

 

2. Additional HR Tasks:

   - Assist with onboarding activities for new hires, including paperwork completion, orientation sessions, and training coordination.

   - Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing exceptional customer service and support.

   - Collaborate with HR team members on various initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, performance management, and diversity initiatives.

   - Take the lead on workers' compensation administration, including filing claims, coordinating with insurance providers, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

 

3. Administrative Support:

   - Provide administrative assistance to the HR department, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.

   - Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and assist with data entry and reporting as needed.

   - Support HR projects and initiatives by conducting research, preparing presentations, and assisting with implementation.

 

4. Candidate and Employee Experience:

   - Serve as a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

   - Foster a positive employee experience by actively listening to employee concerns, providing guidance, and addressing issues in a timely manner.

   - Gather feedback from candidates and employees to continuously improve HR processes and enhance the organization's employer brand.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

- Previous experience working in quick-service restaurants (QSR) or a similar fast-paced environment is highly desirable.

- Strong interest in pursuing a career in HR, with a focus on recruitment and additional HR tasks, including workers' compensation.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
