User Experience (UX) Summer Intern
Hedge was recently accepted to NYU’s Summer Launchpad accelerator program.
About The Job: Hedge’s mission is to be the first robo-advisor for responsible sports gambling. We’ve seen the toll that mobile sports gambling and powerful sportsbook marketing has had on young people, and we’re determined to create a scalable solution that helps players view financial management as a gambling edge.
Job Description: As our UX lead, you will be responsible for participating in the Launchpad alongside our two co-founders. This will include conducting user interviews, market research, and prototyping solutions. You will also get experience with pitching and the fundraising process – vital for anybody interested in a career in entrepreneurship and startups. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact at an early stage company.
The launchpad runs from June 11 to August 8th and hosts sessions every tuesday-thursday from 9am-2pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Launchpad Attendance: In-person attendance at the Launchpad is mandatory
- User Research: Help conduct user research and assist in synthesizing findings to inform MVP requirements.
- Prototyping: Create wireframes/prototypes/mockups for new product features & collect feedback.
- Journey Mapping: Create and define journey maps to visualize user experience across various scenarios.
Requirements:
- Interest in startups and entrepreneurship. Interest in sports is a plus.
- Proficiency in Figma.
