THIS POSITION IS APPOINTIVE SERVICE/GRANT FUNDED.

 

$21.86 to $24.05 hourly.  Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.  Government Center/Viera.  Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Performs entry-level professional work in monitoring, maintaining, and reviewing records for the Housing and Human Services Department.  The work requires familiarity with the department’s functions, policies, and practices.

 

REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field; OR two (2) years [60 semester or 90 quarter hours] of college-level credit with major coursework in accounting, finance, or a closely related field PLUS two (2) years of experience in accounting or a closely related field.  Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.  SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSMust possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment.  In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
