HR Intern
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team and support our Human Resources department in various administrative and operational tasks. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR functions while contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, and other sourcing methods.
- Contacts candidates to schedule interviews.
- Learns how to screen resumes/applications, extend offers and negotiate compensation.
- Helps to ensure assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
- May facilitate orientation for new employees.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
- Manages time effectively and adapts to quickly changing priorities.
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Verbal, written communication, and organizational skills are also needed in this position.
- Excellent problem solving, judgment making, analytical, customer service and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
- This position reports into our Northern Kentucky offices.
- Travel up to 10% of the time.
- Working in a stationary position for an extended period.
- Operating computers for an extended period.
- Moving or traversing for an extended period.
- This position spends most of the time inside a climate-controlled environment.
