Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team and support our Human Resources department in various administrative and operational tasks. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR functions while contributing to the overall success of our organization. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, and other sourcing methods. 
  • Contacts candidates to schedule interviews. 
  • Learns how to screen resumes/applications, extend offers and negotiate compensation.  
  • Helps to ensure assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. 
  • May facilitate orientation for new employees.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.  
  • Fluent in English and Spanish preferred. 
  • Manages time effectively and adapts to quickly changing priorities. 
  • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Verbal, written communication, and organizational skills are also needed in this position.
  • Excellent problem solving, judgment making, analytical, customer service and organizational skills.

 

Working Conditions:

  • This position reports into our Northern Kentucky offices. 
  • Travel up to 10% of the time. 
  • Working in a stationary position for an extended period.
  • Operating computers for an extended period.
  • Moving or traversing for an extended period.
  • This position spends most of the time inside a climate-controlled environment.
