Content Specialist

The newly created role of Content Specialist will be responsible for creating compelling graphic designs for Symmons digital channels and print assets. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple projects, will have great time and project management skills, and a desire to operate in a fast-paced environment where they have a high-degree of autonomy backed by attentive coaching and mentoring. The ideal candidate for this role will approach their work in a proactive manner and will continually bring new ideas and initiatives to Marketing leadership. 

                                                                        

Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Develops digital and print assets to support Symmons branding, campaigns, and goals.
  • Works collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to translate marketing and sales objectives into creative concepts.
  • Leverages latest technologies and best practices in graphic design.
  • Consistently and expertly applies graphic brand standards.
  • Works with vendors to manage external content creation.
  • Managers and keeps digital asset libraries up to date.
  • Manages creation and distribution of print material.
  • Evaluates new technologies and makes recommendations.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in digital graphic design.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in print/layout design.
  • Ability to execute ideas from concept to final creative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS is preferred. 
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM is preferred.
  • Experience with Pardot or other Marketing Automation tool is preferred.
  • Experience with popular social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) is preferred. 
  • Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
