Salary Rate $25.64- $30.82/hour (Grade 15, Step 2 - Step 9 with promotional growth to $41.10)

The purpose of this position is to promote the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) housing programs and initiatives for low-and-moderate-income Maryland residents.  This position increases public awareness by optimizing opportunities with current and potential external partners, with the goal of promoting and informing Marylanders of the diverse portfolio of programs and services offered by the agency; including, Neighborhood Business Works, Rental Eviction and Foreclosure Prevention, Neighborhood Revitalization, Energy, Special Loans, Maryland Housing Search, Opportunity Zone, Project CORE, Homelessness, Military, etc. statewide.  The Community Engagement Liaison position is responsible for maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territories and market segment to generate "new" business opportunities for the departments products and services.
