Digital Media Intern

As a Digital Media Intern, you are responsible for visually sharing the life-changing experiences of True Friends participants through video. Digital Media Interns observe, capture, and have opportunities to participate in programs and activities surrounding a variety of services including summer camp, respite services, therapy and adaptive riding, team building, retreats, travel events and much more. The Digital Media Intern is a seasonal position. You can commute and live offsite, or you can live onsite with other summer camp staff if you live out of state or just want to be part of the camp experience all summer.


Schedule: Seasonal, Late May - Mid August 2024

Location: Camp Friendship in Annandale, MN

How You'll Contribute:

  • Identify unique opportunities to capture video content of individuals, staff, and scenic views in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Edit, label and prep videos to be used for marketing opportunities including social media, website, print materials and video
  • Capture video interviews and b-roll of participants, staff, and other groups of interest.
  • Edit footage into publicly used videos that share the stories of True Friends.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to complete specific marketing projects.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • A current college student, recent graduate, or have professional experience with an emphasis in Photography, Videography, or related program/major.
  • Looking to strengthen videography and visual story-telling skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with video and editing (can be professional or educational)
  • Adobe Premiere or other video-editing software experience.
  • Able to handle various camera equipment.
  • Team player who is also able to work independently and manage their own schedule.
  • Able to meet deadlines and take direction and feedback.
  • Passionate about making a difference in the world.
  • Eager to take initiative and have a strong work ethic.
  • Able to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
  • Experience with graphic design a plus.
  • Interviewing experience a plus.
