Guest Experience Assistant

  • Work in person at the Toppel Career CenterĀ (across the street from the Pavia/Merrick Garages)
  • Provide a high level of customer service to students, employers, alumni, and guests.
  • Answer all incoming calls on the main Toppel line and direct the calls to the appropriate departments and personnel.
  • Manage the Toppel Career Center general email inbox; return and forward messages, and complete requests as needed on your shift.
  • Provide office support for full-time staff, including typing, filing, copying, preparing mailings, and other duties as needed.
  • Assist with Career Fairs & Events as needed
  • Act as an Ambassador for Toppel across campus.
  • Able to work independently on their specific project area be able to motivate themselves to get their projects done promptly and be flexible.
  • Lead tours of our Center for prospective students and families that provide accurate information about our services.
  • Troubleshoot Employer questions on the HireACane website to create accounts, approve job postings, and schedule on-campus interviews.
  • Help organize special events for the Associate Dean and Executive Director, Employer Engagement, and Career Education teams.
  • Promote and inform students, staff, and visitors of Toppel services and events.
