Eligibility Specialist (Income Maintenance) Supervisor II Daycare

Are you a highly motivated, self-directed individual with experience in income maintenance/eligibility?  Catawba County Social Services is recruiting, for an Eligibility Specialist (Income Maintenance) Supervisor II for the Daycare Assistance Program. In this position, you will provide overall supervision, consultation, direction, and leadership to staff, monitoring and evaluating their performance against pre-established standards and policies. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning, organizing, directing and monitoring Daycare Assistance Program
• Assess quality and timeliness of work 
• Analyze work flow and determine best practices; monitor funding  
• Management, supervision and evaluation of staff
• Staff Development
• Customer Service

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree, Associate degree or High School diploma or GED equivalent and 3 years of experience as a caseworker or investigator in an Economic Services Program (Daycare Assistance, Food and Nutrition Services, etc.)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to motivate and manage staff well
• Understanding of complex requirements and policies
• Excellent computer knowledge and skills
• Ability to analyze and problem solve
• Excellent organization and prioritization 
• Strong communication skills
