Summer Marketing Intern

Carnahan Group is a healthcare technology firm headquartered in Tampa, FL, that focuses on providing consulting services via innovative solutions to leading healthcare systems throughout the country. Our mission is to give back resources to the community’s healers by reducing the cost of compliance. We are currently seeking a part-time fall intern to join our dynamic company. This is a great opportunity for a student seeking a career in marketing, advertising, PR, communication, sales, or business.  

We look forward to challenging the incoming Intern in the professional workplace, while assisting in strengthening students’ writing efforts and personal development. Whether the student leaves with more experience in the field, passion for the industry, or a physical portfolio, we are dedicated to helping them achieve their goals. The right candidate will be self-driven and motivated to learn from and work with Carnahan Group employees on the following: 

• Conduct marketing and industry research
• Perform regular data entry and clean up in CRM software
• Provide content marketing and campaign support 
• Write informative, industry-related articles and press releases. 
• Learn SEO and WordPress Basics for the purpose of editing articles or website content to improve SEO ranking. 
• Assist with administrative projects as assigned

Qualifications: 

• General business knowledge – a few business courses or experience working in an office
• Use of MS office suite – basic Word, Outlook, and Excel. PowerPoint helpful.
• Enrolled in a college degree program
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and computer skills
• Detail oriented
• Professional presence and demeanor
