JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

 

The County Human Resources Office provides full Human Resource services including payroll and benefits for approximately 1,200 Utah County employees.

 

Posting Date: April 18, 2024                                        Closing Date: *open until filled

POSITION:  Compensation Analyst        POSTING #: 2251-0424sr

 

The Opportunity:

Under general supervision of the Compensation Manager, performs professional level administrative, technical, and analytical duties to maintain and administer compensation programs in compliance with Utah County policies and government regulations.

 

Starting Pay: Grade 726 Step A: $71,739.20 - Step G: $82,409.60 Annually

Schedule: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday

 

Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field.
2. Two (2) years of Human Resources office experience (e.g., benefits, talent, payroll, compensation, HRIS).
3. Plus, two (2) years of experience related to job analyses, job descriptions, salary surveys, market pricing or complex data analysis.
4. Equivalent combinations of education and related experience may also be considered.

 

Preferred Candidates will possess some of the below attributes:

1. Preference may be given to applicants who possess one or more of the following certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Professional in Human Resource Certification (PHR)/SPHR, SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or related certification.
2. Preference may be given to applicants with experience working with Workday HRIS.
3. Preference may be given to applicants with experience working with Payfactors software.

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

1. Selected applicants will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
