Compliance Intern - Fall 2024

Position Overview

Cornerstone seeks a part-time intern to assist our Compliance team with firm’s lobbying and government ethics needs, as well as support managing and maintaining various organizational records and databases. An intern would also undertake as-needed projects to build capacity and efficiency within business processes.

 

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Compliance team’s management of organizational records and information;
  • Researching legal topics as Cornerstone’s work expands and drafting memorandum;
  • Assisting with Cornerstone’s federal lobbying reporting obligations; and
  • Collaborating with Operations teams members on other organizational projects.

 

Cornerstone pays interns $17.50 per hour on a biweekly basis, subject to required taxes. We also work with students who would like to receive credit hours.

 

Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities

Full-Time Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Part-Time Hours: 25-35 hours per week

 

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position is currently pursuing a law degree, master’s in business administration, or a related field of study, previous internships or experience conducting research and writing are required.
