Human Resources Assistant -PT - Temporary

POSITION: Human Resources Assistant – Temporary | Part-Time

DURATION & SCHEDULE: This is a temporary position. Position will work approximately 24 hours per week depending on the scope of work needed. This is a temporary position lasting approximately 16 weeks with potential to extend for additional weeks. This is a 100% in-office position.  

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a temporary HR Assistant to provide vital support to our Human Resources Director during a software transition period. The successful candidate will assist with various HR tasks and initiatives, contributing to the smooth operation of HR processes within the organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation Support:

  • Assist in the implementation and transition to new HR software, including data migration, testing, and training.
  • Provide ongoing support to HR Director and employees to navigate and utilize the new software effectively.

 

HR Administration & Benefits Enrollment:

  • Support HR Director with file auditing, and with day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Prepare HR documents from templates.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and provide support to employees with benefits-related inquiries.
  • Participate in special HR projects as assigned, such as internal communications to employees, HRIS implementation, or other initiatives

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite. 
  • Familiarity HRIS platforms and proficiency in learning new software systems quickly.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sharepoint preferred.

EDUCATION

  • Pursuing or obtained bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred.
