We are excited to announce that we are taking a big step towards preserving healthcare in Maine's Moosehead Lake Region for the future. We are building a brand-new main hospital building and ambulance station, while also renovating our existing East Wing. Also, older spaces, some of which are over a century old will be demolished in our efforts to provide the best and most efficient care for our community. 

The new CA Dean Hospital has been carefully designed with state-of-the-art facilities, including five "flex care" rooms and a 10-bed unit for long term care residents. Our 24/7 emergency department, imaging and lab services, and a new, separate ambulance station with an FAA-approved helipad will ensure that we are equipped to handle any medical situation.
