Biography Journalist - Intern Period to Job

Colleen Quinn Investigations and Mitigations is seeking a talented and experienced Biography Journalist to join our team. As a Biography Journalist, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and producing compelling biographical stories about individuals from diverse backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to delve into the lives of individuals to uncover their biggest challenges, the stories behind their challenges, their life struggles, and their positive contributions to society.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct in-depth research on subjects for biographical profiles.

- Interview subjects, their associates, and experts to gather information and insights.

- Write engaging and well-researched biographical articles that capture the essence of the subject's life.

- Collaborate with editors, designers, and multimedia producers to enhance storytelling through various mediums.

- Adhere to deadlines and editorial guidelines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in journalism, or in program English, communications, or a related field.

- Proven experience in journalism, preferably with a focus on biographical writing.

- Excellent research skills and the ability to gather information from diverse sources.

- Strong interviewing skills and the ability to build rapport with subjects.

- Exceptional writing ability with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.

- Familiarity with multimedia storytelling tools and platforms is a plus.

- A passion for storytelling and a curiosity about people and their lives.
