Regional Marketing Specialist

Objectives of the Position: 

Assists the Marketing department in their advertising and promotional efforts. Deliver effective marketing programs that will help our reputation and growth in United States & Canada. Contributing to supporting the implementing of effective marketing strategies.

 

Principle Accountabilities: 

  • Support with the strategic direction for marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, leads, and establishing Rhenus as the preferred brand in North America.
  • Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events.
  • Support regional digital media campaigns aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.
  • Investigate the performance of Rhenus marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics.
  • Support the creation of innovative content for cases studies, blogs, landing pages and website content.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
  • Performing market analysis and research to analyze competitive landscape.
  • Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.
  • Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Preparing and working on promotional materials: flyers, brochures, marketing collateral material and presentations; giveaways and merchandising.
  • Creating and maintaining tracking reports of digital and traditional marketing efforts.
  • Monitoring social media channels.
  • Handling social media calendar.
  • Assisting in planning and staffing of trade shows, conferences, and events.
  • Providing administrative support to marketing staff when required 

 

Skills, Education, & Work Experience/Requirements

  • Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media etc.) and market research methods.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
  • BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Copywriting skills 
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work well on a team.
  • LANGUAGE(S): Professional proficiency in English & Spanish required
