Intern, Marketing & Communications

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the dynamic Marketing & Communications Team here at SES Space & Defense, where we are driven by our passion to deliver best-in-class satellite network solutions, products, and services!

 

Based in our Reston, VA office, you will support our Marketing Team with a number of tasks to include support in event planning, marketing analytics and intelligence, merchandising, web design, and branding. You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team and ready to share your creative ideas and enthusiasm!

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the events team with overall preparation and logistics, including updating the Salesforce platform with pertinent information
  • Audit existing merchandising and support creation of new items
  • Improve and support boost SES Space & Defense Instragram Channel
  • Support with website upkeep as well creation of Internal Newsletters
  • Keep an eye on the market through our media monitoring tool
  • Provide input and contribute to ongoing missions and tasks

 

YOUR PROFILE

Must Haves

  • Currently progressing towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High energy and “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure with short deadlines
  • Able to work in United States
  • Fluency in spoken and written English 

Nice to Haves

  • Photography and videography skills
  • Knowledge or experience with CMS, Photoshop, etc.
  • Fluency in other languages besides English
