Lead Auto Mechanic
Facilities Maintenance – Virginia Beach, VA
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an experienced mechanic to join our Facilities Maintenance team. The Lead Auto Mechanic will oversee service for CBN’s automotive fleet and equipment maintenance for the Grounds Services department.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of domestic and foreign car repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of grounds equipment repair and maintenance
- Ability to diagnose and repair problems associated with the effective running of automobiles and grounds equipment
- Ability to manage and organize equipment inventories and parts
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Excellent welding skills preferred
- Ability to consistently lift 100 lbs or more
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to effectively negotiate with vendors
- Good leadership skills
- Ability to work independently as well as an effective member of a team
- ASE and/or HVAC certification a plus
