Scenic Technician
Operations – Virginia Beach, VA
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a detail oriented individual to join our Operations team. The Scenic Technician will carry out daily scheduled or assigned scenic support requirements in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends as needed; typical schedule is Mon-Fri 7AM to 3:30PM
- Working knowledge of staging and warehousing practices
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Ability to consistently lift and carry 50 lb. for 10 ft. and follow safety procedures
- Basic mechanical and carpentry skills with strong manual dexterity
- Ability to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Ability to make decisions, handle changes, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
- Ability to drive trucks with a valid driver’s license and good driving record
