The Innovation team works on various types of projects which may include electric vehicle community readiness studies, fleet transition plans, transit/microtransit plans, and grant applications. While your role will primarily be learning with the Innovation team, our team works closely with our other teams providing additional learning opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have varying responsibilities in support of our planning and advisory project teams, including:

Work with experienced planners, engineers, and public policy professionals to prepare reports and presentations

Develop and utilize excel files to perform data analysis

Perform research and prepare, edit, and review technical reports

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Internship level transportation infrastructure opportunity is available for candidates with minimal experience

Must be available for internship during Summer 2024

Exceptional writing skills and ability to work independently

Proficiency with MS Office software, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Education and Experience

Current enrollment in an accredited planning, engineering, public policy, or related program

Previous internship or employment in the consulting industry is preferred

Previous GIS experience is beneficial but not required
